Nokia Belle Feature Pack 1

Hey there guys, this is Tech Doll, and I’m here today to talk about the new Nokia Belle Feature Pack 1 update and as to what we’re gonna see inside of it.

We’ve all seen that the new Nokia 808 PureView comes with the latest iteration of the Symbian operating system. This is an excellent thing because Nokia Belle Feature Pack 1 avails enhanced entertainment options, personalization choices and performance.

It’s arrived on the Nokia 808 PureView, and will also be made available for new production and current users of Nokia 603, 700 and 701 smartphones in coming months. For other latest Symbian devices, we have just made Nokia Belle available, and now already more than 1 million downloads have taken place! So, if you own one of the smartphones in question, or are planning to get either Nokia 603, 700, 701 or the new Nokia 808 PureView than go on as it has a lot to offer and you will enjoy the delicious goodies out there.

First of all, the entertainment experience is boosted. Dolby Headphone and Dolby Digital Plus transform the playback of music and movies and games into a personal surround sound experience like no other. With Nokia Belle Feature Pack 1, you can access a world of premium entertainment.

If you thought Nokia Belle already brought bunch of great widgets, Nokia Belle Feature Pack 1 will increase your personalization options even further. You get even more personalization with 20 new and improved widgets – having even more content easily accessible on your home screens.

In calculation, there’s a new, faster browser with HTML 5 support, the latest version of Nokia Maps, and the recently announced Microsoft Apps available via over the air update. There’s an even better notifications bar and a refreshed multitasking bar, too.

HTC One X

Its HTC One X today guys………

The HTC One X is a touchscreen Android smartphone designed by HTC. It runs Android 4.0 operating system with an HTC Sense graphical user interface. The HTC One X was announced on 26 February 2012 at the Mobile World Congress. The One X is HTC's flagship model of its One series of smartphones, featuring the largest screen, largest battery, the most internal storage, and the fastest processor.

The One X features a 4.7-inch 1280x720 non-pentile Super LCD 2 display covered by a solitary panel of Corning Gorilla Glass, a 1.5 GHz 4-Plus-1 quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor (ARM Cortex-A9) with a fifth Battery Saver Core, 1GB of RAM; a 1,800 mAh battery, a dual-band 802.11n WiFi radio, Bluetooth 4.0 with apt-X, GPS, NFC, and 32 GB of internal storage. The One X also features a standard array of sensors counting a proximity sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, accelerometer and ambient light sensor.

The One X has three physical keys; a power button on the top and a volume rocker on the right side. On the front of the One X are three capacitive touch keys for the Back, Home, and App Switcher functions.

On the left plane of the One X is a Micro USB 2.0 port. This port doubles as a MHL interface, allowing the One X to output 1080p content to an external display via HDMI through the use of an adapter. A 3.5mm headphone jack is located on the top of the One X as well as one of the two stereo microphones. The second microphone is located on the bottom. The One X has two speakers, one on the rear of the phone and another above the front display, serving as the earpiece. The front speaker grill also houses the notification LED.

The device comes with Beats by Dr. Dre audio. While the One X typically includes a set of Beats by Dr. Dre headphones, in the UK, Sweden, and Germany the device only comes with a standard set of white headphones. In Canada on Rogers, the standard retail packaging does not include any headset.

The rear facing camera have a resolution of 8 megapixels, maximum aperture of f/2, smart LED flash firm by distance from the subject, BSI sensor (for better low-light captures), dedicated imaging chip, and can autofocus in 0.2 seconds. It can take four photos per second while watching videos / movies, or capture an 8MP (3264 x 1840 pixels) photo whilst recording HD video. It can shoot video in 1080p and video stabilization feature removes wobbly motion. It also has slow motion video capture and playback (768 x 432 pixels). Shooting modes include High Dynamic Range (HDR) and Panorama. The front facing camera has a resolution of 1.3 megapixels. It is capable of 720p HD recording. The image processor is HTC's Image Chip, a part used in general with other phones in the HTC One series.

Windows 8 developer preview hand on.....

Windows 8 is probably an official new name to the new version of Microsoft windows, a series of operating system product by Microsoft for use on personal computers, including home and business desktops, laptops; netbooks, tablet PCs, and media center PCs. According to unofficial sources, the release date for Windows 8 has been set for October 2012, three years after the release of its predecessor, Windows 7. Windows 8's server counterpart, Windows Server 2012, is in development concurrently with Windows 8. The most recent officially released pre-release version is the Consumer Preview, which was released on February 29, 2012. An almost-complete Release Preview is scheduled for the first week of June 2012.

So if we talk about installing a new operating system first we got to consider the basic hardware support required….Windows 8 Consumer Preview should run on the same hardware that powers Windows 7 today. In general, you can expect Windows 8 Consumer Preview to run on a PC with the following:

• 1 GHz or faster processor
• 1 GB RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
• 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)
• DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver
• 1024 x 768 minimum screen resolutions.

So now captivating you to whatever I have observed, as you can see from the video that there is a tile sort of view which is really nice and initiative, if u has the windows 8 on a tablet you can possibly move the screen with touch, but for desktop you can use mouse and scroll it over. Well really working on tile is really fun as we can kill or start the application at just on touch or a hit…..

Okay the task manger is also put on to shortcut by pressing {cntrl+shift+esc} that will directly take you to task manager and the pleasant feature is that you can see all the details regarding the ‘running tasks’ by just clicking on ‘more detail’ will probably get a lot out of it, the most crucial stuff is windows 8 lacking the ‘star button’ so shutting down and many other things really get into trouble to the users….but don’t you worry…. The shutting down or logging off is provided in the settings option to the bottom right on the desktop, and searching for a particular app when you don’t find on desktop window can be done through same. If being precise all the settings regarding your p.c are basically found at the ‘settings bar’.

Actually windows 8 is really fun in all and all but it will take a little time to user to get immune to it and be a frequent speedy user. Yes in my opinion its really next generation…..

Samsung galaxy note v/s iphone 4s

Form Factor:

The iPhone 4S has more or less the same factor as the previous iPhone – iPhone 4. There has been no do up in the terms of the form factor and frankly speaking iphone is going something boring.
The Samsung Galaxy Note is relatively an enormous in terms of size. One of the surprises we had with this device was that regardless of its 146mm length and 83mm width, it’s quite thin at 9.7mm. 
Even though, some people might find it a bit heavy at 178g. 
Samsung has artistic the Note a sleek and modest design along with a large screen. The handset has been engraved tidily and makes it easy to spotlight on other aspects of the phone, such as its visuals. 

Display

Apple’s iPhone 4S fails to surprise us in the conditions of the display as it has the same 3.5-inch backlit TFT retina display as the previous iPhone. The Samsung Galaxy Note comes with pixel density of 285 ppi and an attractive 800 x 1280 screen resolution. 
Still though the Galaxy Note is gifted with the larger screen and enhanced resolution, the iPhone 4S is still its big daddy in requisites of the screen. 

Storage:

The iPhone 4S comes in 3 storage options, 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB. But the associated RAM is just 512 MB. As usual, Apple hasn’t offered any external MicroSD support.
On the other hand the Samsung Galaxy Note comes in two versions – 16 GB or 32 GB. Besides, it offers you external MicroSD support to the tune of 32 GB. Next to with that, the handset also comes with standard 2 GB MicroSD card, powered with packs in a powerful 1 GB RAM.
Even lacking external MicroSD support and the lack of RAM, iPhone 4S wins this round, as one tends to favor its internal storage option in place of external storage. 

      

Processor:

Apple has gone the whole nine yards in terms of the iPhone 4S processor. It has capable the handset with an A5 chipset, the same one that powers the iPad 2. It is duly accompanied with a 1 GHz dual-core ARM Cortex A9 processor along with a SGX 543MP2 GPU.
Samsung’s Galaxy Note procedures up with a dual-core ARM Cortex A9 processor, which runs its 1.4 GHz on an Exynos chipset, along with an accompanying Mali 400 MP GPU.
Apple might have made a heroic challenge as far as endowing its iPhone 4S with an A5 processor goes, but Samsung Galaxy Note over powers it in terms of the processor. 

operating system:

Apple debuted the iOS 5 operating system by the side of with iPhone 4S at the ‘lets talk iPhone’ event. It claims that the OS is endowed with 200 new features and we think it has delivered on its guarantee. 
iOS 5 seems a handy operating system along with its Siri supporter and iMessage – which is Apple’s version of the Blackberry Messenger (BBM).
The Galaxy Note, on the other hand, currently runs android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, though it is in procession for an Ice Cream Sandwich OS, the present operating system on the handset is, in plain terms is outmoded. 
It presently doesn’t have a lot to race with Apple’s iOS or even the Windows Phone OS. 
But, we would still say that multi-tasking is superb on the Samsung Galaxy Note handset, we are left wanting for improved features.

 Camera:

Both the Samsung Galaxy Note and Apple iPhone 4S come equipped with 8-megapixel camera that deliver a 3264 x 2448p resolution and 1080p video capture. 

Final Verdict:

The Samsung Galaxy Note is unquestionably an exclusive contribution from the company. The Apple iPhone 4S on the other hand, is a good phone, but not a renowned one like its predecessors. 
techdoll was left a bit amazed by the Note and a bit dissatisfied by the iphone 4s
But, the iPhone 4S is still successful due to its healthier operating system. But probably Ice Cream Sandwich handset ability even be able to defeat the iPhone 4S.

Unboxing the SAMSUNG GALAXY note.......

Is it a phone, a tablet…Or both? The Samsung Galaxy Note is sure to evoke some looks from passersby. With a 5.3 inch HD Super AMOLED display the Galaxy Note has become first in world to offer this. Nevertheless even with this vast screen Samsung has managed keeping the design thin and stylish.

In this video we unbox the new 16GB Samsung Galaxy Note running on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread (Ice Cream Sandwich).
